Don't Order from Classic Cruser 3 Years, 1 Month ago
I ordered some new saddle bag brackets to fit my bags from Classic Cruser because they had the cheapist price. Get an e-mail to check on my order status. Show they are back order and may take up to 3 weeks. 3 weeks + pass and still no e-mail and status still shows the same. I finally e-mailed them and asked if they could advise on the status. Checked today and the canceled the order. Went to Cruser Customizing and ordered a set for $10 more and they will ship tomarrow they say. I went ahead and got two day shipping because I will be on vacation for a week next week. SO if ya want something fast don't order from them.

i have had similar experiences with phats, i orderd barons kickback risers from them and it took like 5 weeks when someone else on here ordered after me the same thing and got them sooner...more recently i ordered a clutch cable and brake line from them and it took 6 weeks!

so i dont know if its always their fault or just a coincidence but phats was very good with talking to me about these complications both times so i may give them a 3rd chance...i will say everything i ever orderd from cruiser customizing i always got very very quickly, real top notch

Did you go with black or chrome? SSCustomCycle has the chrome for $128 and the black for $89... never delt with them but considered getting another style bag they sell that work well with the Dooleys.

I ordered something from them once. I wanted to be sure it would fit my bike so I verified it by email and phone. When I got it it wasn't even close so I emailed them 3 times. Never got a reply. So I finally called them and explained that the part wasn't right. The first thing the guy said was I should have just handled it by email. When I told him they hadn't answered my 3 emails and that was why I was calling he said "Well sometimes life isn't good. Return it if you want. Will there be anything else?" Last and only time I did business with them.

I have ordered from Phat Performance a few times and have always gotten my order within a week. I have been pleased with their service so far.

Yes me too thats why I went back to them they ship fast and I have never had any problems with them. That what I get for trying save a few bucks I ended up spending more with the faster shipping than I would have saved and still waited over 3 weeks. That'll learn me dern me.

yea sometimes its hit or miss with phats but they have been very very courteous to me so i can accept delays sometimes, if they were rude to me id never go back to them, and cruiser cust does tend to be a lil pricier but sometimes its just worth it hah, couple bux for a lot of stress

Yep me too Musky I don't go back twice. Scotto I got the Chrome ones The one that I got with the bags were for HD I thinkmI had to do some modding to get them to mount. I want to use the proper ones as the ones I have now are rattling a lot. OH well it's just money...that's in short supply if you arn't in the stimulis plan.

By the way what was it that you replaced the swingarm covers with. I couldn't remember. Which is no surprise.

Thanks GS! I used the top of a plastic chrome kitchen sink sparyer plug and The crub cup drin strainers cut in half. Just use the top half with the flange cut the bottom half off and throw it away. Cut the top off the sink sprayer plug off and gorilla glue it to the sink strainer then hamer it in the hole where that ugly plastic plug is.
