Jason:

You'll need a clutch cable that's HD on top and Yami on the bottom.
The big, fat one we have on our cables won't fit the HD clutch handle.

Brake line is 10mm(like Yami stock), so there's nothing wrong on that side.

Throttle cable looks the same.

Rich, thanks!
I think tonight I will mock it and measure the cables I want. I want to take out the splices that comes stock and run entire length cables. The HD guy said they carry most lengths of the cables, and brake lines, but it sounds like a bit of a custom cable is needed for the clutch? Is it safe to say I will need to have that special built?

Hey ajbonner,

Concerning a covering for the wires coming out of the handle bars and into the headlight:

I went to Lowes and got an "Ice machine connector hose" that had stainless steel wire mesh covering. Cut the ends off, boiled the hose, and slid the wire mesh covering off no problem. Measured the length and cut with tin snips. I then put liquid electrical tape around the edges at both ends to keep them from fraying out on me. After they dried I fed the wires through, spliced the "inside the headlight bucket connectors" back on and the stainless steel mesh was pushed up inside the handle bar at one end and into the head light bucket at the other. It looks cool, was less than $10 to do and should withstand any abuse it is likely to endure where it is.

Here's how I routed my wiring - I used split coil flexible wire covering with zip ties to secure it. Simple, and it doesn't stand out at all. I like the idea of the wire mesh tube thing, but I thought this would be simpler.
And here's another pic.

:-DD.
