Okay well dont know if anybody out there will find this helpful or not but a little while back had to replace the starter relay on my 2000 Roadie (part number 4bh-81940-02-00). I live in a pretty much rural area, and the local yamaha shop is real good at not stocking anything for my ride. I dont like to admit it but im a real impatient person when it comes ordering and waiting for things to get shipped. So while down there looking for somthing to get me by and get my ride back on the road while waiting for the correct oem part to arrive, the guy at the parts desk hit up one of the mechanics to see what he had to say on the matter, and low and behold we found the exact relay used on another yamaha product, an atv in fact. As soon as I can I will post that part number. So if you need to replace it that is another possibility out there if your local shop is as low stocked as mine!!!!
