I have settled on the Cobra Power PRo HP 2 to 1 pipes. The best I can find pricewise is $395 and $25 shipping. Anyone that knows of a better price, let me know

Thanks

Hey nox,

Just curious what led you to this choice. I'm hoping to go with either the V&H or the Cobra this spring ($$ a problem at the moment). I've seen the V&H for $375 or so shipped on eBay, as I'm sure you've seen. Anyway, I like the look of the Cobra better, but I've been led to believe that it's a little louder than the ProPipe. Anyhoo.....I'd just like to know how you decided. Thanks.

I picked the Cobra because of the consistant shape of the muffler. I didn't like the V & H Megaphone style.

I removed my Cobra 2-1 system yesterday and reinstalled the stock system. I took the Cobra system off for 2 reasons: 1) I wanted to fit a tow bar and the mounts for the cobra system required modification to allow for the towbar mount; and 2) I'm going on a 6,000klm+ trip in March and didn't want my (or my pillion wife's) eardrums pounded on such a long trip.

Yeah mate, sorta like back seat riding. As long as she leaves the rolling pin (cruise control) at home.

Hey noxqsays,

Just wondering how you like the sound of the Cobra Power Pro HP.

Can you describe it?

I believe he went ahead and got a stock exhaust system and drilled them to stage one just in the last day or two. He got the stock for less than $100 bucks and went that way.
