Re:Power Commander III 3 Years, 1 Month ago
Okay, here's the fix everyone. Thanks for all the info....
1st I took the PC off just to see how the bike ran and if it surged. The battery is disconnected each time I do this, so the on board computer is reseting. The bike ran fine without the PC, with the Hypercharger and pipes. No surging at all.
I couldn't leave well enough alone, so I put the PC back on being very careful that each connection is tight and fully connected. What Road_Hawg said made sense to me so I wanted to hook the o2 sensor's up and see what happens. I tried the different maps, and tried going to the different extreme's on the PC just to see if there was any effect at all on the surging. No change, so again it made sense what Road Hawg says. I contacted PC (they are very helpful) and they told me to hook the o2 sensors back up on the pipes, it wouldn't hurt the PC. That was the trick. The motor's power band is VERY SMOOTH and starts lower in the RPM's. Very happy.
I contacted PC and told them the results. Haven't heard back from them yet. The instructions clearly say to remove the o2 sensors. I will be waiting for my check for the R&D testing I did for them. I'll share the wealth with everyone that helped.

Thanks again
Larry
