need help. lookin' to buy a sissy bar bag. (who ever pointed out leather up, THANKS!!!! i'll e-mail you a beer.) QUESTION, do i need a luggage rack or can i turn it around, let it rest on the pass.pad & tie ti sissy bar? by the way, in the land of cleve, with a lake that's erie, the riding is GREAT. see you guy's in missouri

I let mine sit on the passenger seat unless I have a passenger. I think that it distributes tha weight better. My $0.02

If you get one of these, I would warn you that the tie down straps will fray like crazy. On my set, one strap is almost completely gone from my trip down to FL earlier this month. I learned my lesson and used some masking tape on the ends and did a better job of tucking things in on the way home and had no more problems.

I used to put it on the passenger seat until I got the luggage rack, now it rides on the rack. It was leaving black marks on the paint of the rear fender before the rack was installed.
