Re:TIRES 5 Years, 2 Months ago
put a set of cruisemax tires on a Vulcan 750 about 6 years ago. Loved them, but only put about 2000 miles on them before I traded the bike. They handled worlds better than the F11 front and 555 rear that were on it. I would be willing to try them again, except the whites are all they make now, I believe. Incidentally, the chunk in the M880 tire is at the tread seam. That is a quality control issue with the layup, and there should be a safety recall on those friggin things! Pirelli owns Metzeler, yes, and I have run lots on Pirelli MT-66's from Brazil without trouble, but the economical and political world sucks down there these days, and that affects lots of things. BTW, My blackwall D404's are both from MEXICO..

Just checked my new Metzelers...BOTH from Brazil. I sure hope they weren't lying when they said they fixed whatever was wrong. Oh, well...I gotta figure there are tens of thousands of them out there STILL getting rave reviews, and that includes Brazilian ones...
