Let us know if it works cuz i have had a simialr tank denting incident that i may wanna try that technique on....

Hey Milesp,
Had a buddy of mine use a paint-less dent repair kit in which you glue
a little rod to the dent (on the paint) with some hotglue and use a device to pull the rod up, therefore pulling the dent up. The neck on
the tank is too long for any pdr tools to reach the top area of the tank.
He had to pull on my dent several times, because the metal gas tank
is thicker than a hood or fender on a car, but it worked like a champ.

A friend of mine has a small dent. On his HD he was not able to get it out so he put a decal in the form of a bullet hole over it and presto, small dent has disappeared.  I know is sucks but I hope you are able to get it out.
