Re:Kenda tires 3 Years ago
We just bought a VStar 650 for the wife that takes a 170/80/15 on the back and the Kenda Kruz or Cruisers are 2 tires I am looking at. Not much I can find on them but what little I do is fairly positive. Sorta like "you'll get 3/4 the life from them for 1/2 the cost of a brand name tire".

And what's up with Yami putting a 170 tire on a 650 bike and we have to make do with a 150? That just ain't right.

Not my personal experience. I got 100% the life of the tire , for 1/2 the cost. That was on the the Kenda Cruise rear tire. BB

Re:Kenda tires 3 Years ago
Well just to keep anyone who cares up to date. I found a Dunlap K177 160/80/16 at Cycle Max for $149. Went with it so I could be riding by the weekend. That's the mounted price also so felt pretty good about price. Can't comment on the Kenda's but I'm pretty happy with the Dunlap. Also I guess any new tire fells great but with the new tire this thing fills like it on a rail. Man it will carve a curve now. The 160 also seems like the speed o is closer to accurate with this size and looks a little beafer. I'm happy with it. Took tire and rim off bike to have them replace it. Tried to remove tire off rim but being a tight wad in principal doesn't replace proper tools.

The 160 works fine. I believe it also increases load capacity. It definitely gives more stability riding two up.
