Hi guys,

Just did my first oil change on my newly bought (used) 2004 RS Midnight Silverado. Was not the easiest oil change of my life, but once learned, that'll be way faster the next time...I'll use a damn lift!

But after that was done, I went to change the gear oil but could not manage how the hell would I unscrew the fill plug!?!? I'm happy I found this well made how-to showing the use of a large washer. However, having V&H Longshots HS, I guess I will have to remove at least the top pipe to be able to remove the fill plug, right? Because space is so thight I don't see another way to unscrew it... Could you guys please confirm the need to remove pipe or even better, feel free to give me you trick to remove that plug without having to remove the pipe!
