First things first. If you were / are running that rich you probably have a ton of carbon in the motor. Have you run a cleaner in the gas, sprayed it in the carb, or both, to get the insides cleaned up? You need to do that before you try to get the jetting right. My .00002 cents anywho.

Musky is suggesting you spray it through the carb ...
Run the bike at fast idle. Spray MMO into the carb throat for about 30 seconds. Then lower the idle and spray until the bike dies. Let it stand for an hour or so or overnight. Start and see if it runs any better.

The original question was "how often do you have to rejet?" The answer is only when something is changed that affects how the engine runs. As the stock bike comes everything is fine as long as it remains stock. When we change the inlet and exhaust to improve the airflow then we need to rejet to accomodate the changes. As long as nothing else is changed that affects how the engine runs then it doesn't have to be rejetted again.

Ok . . . I will do that , to spray MMO can I use any kind of spray nozzle ?? or does it have to be an specific one ?? you think this will give me more mileage ?? how about if my friend takes apart my carburetor and cleans it ?? is there anything else I can use to clean a carburetor ?? perhaps something that they sell in Autozone ??

If you are going to tear it down any of the carb cleaners will work, just be sure to use compressed air to blow thru the small orfices. I'd try spraying the MMO first.just get a small plastic spray bottle.
(wow big word)

If you are going to take your carb apart to clean it up and carb cleaner you would use on a car will work.

I have always tried Berrymans B-12 on the vehicle first - running with the throttle open 1/3 TO 1/2. If that doesn't work then I tear it down.
