I've tried being gentle to almost manhandle and I can't get it off this time. Try pushing down on the nose of the seat while you turn the key. Get a forklift. My buddy bought a new one in 00, took us 10 minutes to figure it out. I had to take mine to the dealer.. Who had to stick a long thin screw driver in to trip the lever. Then sprayed with WD40 works fine now. I read all the post and tried them all before I did take it. I got her off now. Pushing the front end down when the key is turned helped. Now the trickle charger is back on, and I'm waiting for another warm day to take her out. I was going to get the Front-end loader and hook up a chain......
