Have fun on the Dragon. Been on it several times, left some chrome off of my pipes and boards there last time. If you have time the Cherohala Skyway is a must. 50 miles or so from Robinsville to Tellico Plains, TN. Has elevations over a mile high and amazing sights. Also, check out Killboy.com. You can buy some great shots of yourself on the ride. Check out the link at the bottome of my page for some of his shots. Ride Safe

My parents are on their way home from the dragons tail as we speak(or type) ..... They left from MN about a week and a half ago,and I talked to them FRI. night,and the old man said that I would've loved it out there.. So I'm looking forward to some of their adventureous stories!!!! I could'nt afford to go or get off work,so I'm stuck here!!!

I'd just quit that job!

On the tail! 2 Up fully loaded! And get this, BOTH tires at Max Air at over 90 degrees temperature! Whooooo I am a dangerous guy! I did 27000 miles so far, All within 5 lbs of Max air posted on the tire sidewalls. Get yer azz to the Dragon!

hell, when we went,i got so used to the bike being loaded down and with both of us that when we got home it took me a bit to get used to it again empty!

Glad you had fun here in North Carolina, wish I had seen this post early enough to warn you about the giant SUV pulling RV's and semi-trucks that will sometimes take up 100% of the road along the Dragon and the Parkway.

Did you get a chance to see the GL1800 Dragon video before you left home?

Maybe some of us Carolina Star riders can plan an overnight west and you can show us a tavern or ice cream shop.

Max Thats insane!!!The bike with the camera is dragging his pegs or boards in almost every turn!!!!! I would be getting passed by alot of pissed off riders!!!
