No such thing as a dumb question here Paul. Thats what this site is all about.
Its the Pilot Mixture Screw, which controls the amount of mix (fuel air mix) the carb gets at idle.

Thanks alot Gram.I had the vale job done on my 05 roadstar then went to Strugis. I am starting to get a back fire when I start my eng. Am going to try adjusting my PMS.If that does not work then back to my dealer.I have a very good dealership in Ft.Smith,AR. |

That's why some folks say ... it's doesn't do anything.
Best to turn it 1/4 turn at a time and give the motor time to adjust.
