If you make your own extension brackets, just drill the front hole 1/4" higher than the other 3. This will give you enough upward tilt to make the boards more comfortable. That's how I did mine.

I did the extensions (BillJr) and had to remove my Yami small engine guards. The brake master cylinder interfered with them.

I'm looking on getting the Cobra Fatty Freeway bars to replace them.

The question I need to ask is, will the Cobra Fatty Freeway bars work with the floorboard extensions??

From the look of the pic online they should. But the pics always say that the pic may not look like the actual setup.

Nope! I have the Cobra Fatty's and looked into this already. The problem is that they taper back at the bottom. When I put my engine guard chaps on, the rear brake reservoir is pushing against the right side chap.
