I purchased a Kury red LED to replace my white backlight on my speedo. I looked for the bulb on my speedo circuit board but could not find it. Or,most likely,I didn't know what I was looking at.  Can someone tell me where I can find it? |

Its a red led light that installs on your circuitboard somewhere? Tiny little thing. It gives your speedo a red glow instead of the white. I may have to get with Kury on installation as there were no instructions. |

I was not aware that KuryAkyn sold the bulb for out dash.
In any event you have to take the dash apart to get at those lights.
In the past folks just painted the bulbs with clear paint of their color choice.

I would bet that there is more than one (probably several) LED's in that meter assy and that they are soldered into the circuit board. I don't think they are made to be changed since an LED will typically last almost indefinitely.

That's why I wanted to see the link. Those lights from KuryAkyn won't work.
Just take yours out and paint them red.

I think Kury needs to work on their decriptions. One of the reviews said he used this on his Shadow to change the light color in his speedo. I thought I could do the same since it was described as for "all bikes". |

There are 4 bulbs that light up the speedo. You can get replacement bulbs at Radio shack cheaper than the dealer. You could buy some and do like Doc said and paint them red. Radio Shack |
