well after getting ~19K mi on a DUNLOP MU85B-16 M/C 77H D402R,

i just ordered a Dunlop CRUISEMAX 150/80B-16 M/C 71H

19K MILES!!! Why would you ever try another model. The most I've ever gotten out of a rear tire is 13K miles. My next rear is gonna be that D402!! It might actually last me 10 or 11 months.

I just installed Metzler's 880 front and rear and I asked about running the 160 over the stock 150 as it was explained to me.... the 160 being wider actually squeezes the tire causing less rubber making contact on the road... so I went with 150. I noticed the difference in handing right away and was amazed the grip and cornering ability my Roadie has.... Now if it would only stop raining in the northeast I would enjoy them a whloe lot more

My rear fender is lowered. Does anyone know if this will be a problem when fitting the large rear Tire?

Thanks, I am not sure exactly what you mean by ground down, but I will assume that means some sort of fender modification, but not replacement, and with the STD STK swing arm

Thanks David
