I ordered mine off EBAY for 16.95 no shipping. Got em in about 3 or 4 days. Worked like a charm. Make sure you get the ones for the 1700. I did a search for Roadstar AIS, they pop right up.

What Teal said... Ebay < $20.00

Clifford may also be able to hook you up.

Rich knows what's up.. Night Sky Customs or check em out on eBay. I think it was 12 or 15 bucks? You'll get the rubber plug, but no need for it.

I plan to remove the AIS from my '08 this weekend using a Baron's kit that I'll pick up on Friday from my dealer (I know!!!).
The instructions for th AIS removal on Night Sky customs web site shows removing the gas tank to plug off a vacuum line. Is this not necessary?
I'm also adding a Speedstar big air cleaner, Speedstar long drag pipes and a Dynojet power commander for a little more "kick".
I look forward to your comments and advice.

Sounds like a good weekend project. There are a lot of threads already about issues using the PCIII. You might want to do a little research before you go down that rabbit hole...

And, you don't need to remove the tank to do the AIS removal since we don't have that vacuum line to plug.

Have fun.

Anyone got the instructions for removing the AIS on the 08 Roadie? Night Sky only showed instructions up to 99. Thanks

I used these instructions from Night Sky for my '07 which will be similar to your scoot:

AIS 1700
