Baron Jet Kit or Dynatek Jet Kit? 2 Years, 7 Months ago
I have ordered HK 3" Res Tech Pipes, Barons BAK, Dyna 3000 with new coils(2.2ohm) and plug wires along with a DynaJet Jet kit that was recommended by Hard Krome for the new pipes.I just realized that a jet kit comes with the BAK. I have two questions 1) Which Jet kit should I use to get the best performance? 2) Are the 2.2 ohm coils OK or should I get the 1.5 ohm coils? I have a 2007 Roadie Silverado. Any suggestions on the installs would be appreciated. I have been reading everything here on jetting, exhaust, coils, etc. The info is awesome and very usable.

Thanks

Personally, I wouldn't go with a Dynojet kit again (which is what I got) because they don't include the main jet sizes most people actually use... and they use their own sizes, not Mikuni sizes.

I have been able to realize equal performance with both the Baron's and Dyna jet kits. This is jetting with an exhaust analyzer. So no major performance difference if you have the right tools.

BUT, the folks around here predominantly use the Barons, and it uses native Mikuni jets. So if you use the Baron's kit you will have better chance of finding folks with similar accessories who can make recommendations on your jetting when the time comes.
