TOPIC: Transfer case oil

Transfer case oil 7 Years, 1 Month ago  
Just checked my transfer case oil and the dealership over filled it by about a quart is this going to hurt my ride????

How long was it over filled ... and a QUART? Thats a lot in the transfer case. Really should not be a problem if you have drained the excess. You are sure that it is the trasnfer case and not the transmission? There are three drain plugs on the Roadstar, engine area (up fron on left side of engine so close to the frame rail it is a pain to get off. Transmission area mid way back on teh bottom, little to the left. Then the transfer case (heavier oil) A little further back and if I remember more to the right than the transmission plug.
