I don't have them so can't make a recommendation, but there are a few around that do have them, I'm sure they will pop in..........

if youve got your heart set on new high-comp pistons......you'll be just fine with either 'wiseco' or 'JE PISTONS' both will take massive abuse before failure
as your going for a jump in power, you'de be mad not-to port/flow the head whilst its off......and dont forget to have your mechanic run a glaze-buster on the bores, and at the very least 'lap' in the valves, if not re-cut the seats

Just read the results of the 'surgery.'
The engine components are aluminum and the steel nut won.
I still would like to know what caused the smoking condition from under the seat.
Could it be the result of detonation caused by the nut??

The smoke from under the seat my mechanic thought that when the piston came up and hit the nut it may have raised the head up off the gasket a bit and caused the smoke to come out??
I gonna have to pass on the high comp pistons for now. I just don't have the money...the reason is I know that there was only the one nut that got into the engine and we thought it was in the rear cylinder because this is where the smoke came from and so the rear cylinder was pulled first and this is where we found the nut so the front cylinder has not been pulled down and won't be unless I won't to spend some extra cash that I don't have.
"Myself like alot of other people" I just don't know what my job will be like in the future it's good now but the future is unsure so I have to hold on to my money.
I will replace the rear piston and have the head repaired and close it back up for now. one day I may go back in with high comp pistons.
Or one day I might trade it for a Stratoliner I like the strats rode one once thats some REAL power there !!

StarMyram, the bike is still in the shop there wasn't any rush for me as I have been working 7-days a week and not to mention that the temperatures down here have been in the upper 90's and today 101°
I'm not in any hurry to stradle a bike right now of any kind.
I will only be replacing the rear piston and rings ect.
This is because thats is where the nut ended up. If I would have been going into both cylinders then it would have made sense $$ wise to go back in with high comp pistons.
The bike will be ready by the end of the next week, I do miss my second love my roadie and will ride this coming weekend as I will finally have a weekend off.
As said before this will be lesson learned I had other plans earlier for all the overtime money that I knowesd I had coming like taking a vacation, sealing my asphalt driveway, and pouring a little more cement at my back padio... but now that list is shorter.
