Error code 24 2 Years, 11 Months ago
Hi guys, quick question.

I was riding with my dad yesterday and he had his engine light come on while we were going down the highway about 80 mph. He checked it this morning and came up with error code 24 but I cannot find what it is. Anyone by chance know what error code 24 is? I found for the warrior it is engine temp just wondering if it was the same since the bike does it even after sitting overnight.

He has done all the easy stuff as far as disconnecting the battery and what not just need to find out what the code means and go from there...

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, evidently in the manual for his bike it says if your engine light comes on to turn the bike off then turn the ignition to on. In the lower corner of the odometer it will give you a error code number. I searched and searched but could not find a site that lists them. I was hoping someone may know of a site that I could find them.

Wow! I would try to contact your dealer. (as much as I hate to say that) See if they will tell you what the code means.

Definitely contact the service department and see what they tell you over the phone.

If you get an error indication and a number on the LCD Display, this is what the numbers mean.

11 Cylinder identification sensor failure
12 Crankshaft position sensor failure
13 Intake pressure sensor failure
14 Intake pressure sensor pipeline failure
15 Throttle position sensor wire disconnected or short-circuited
16 Throttle position sensor stuck
21 Water temperature sensor failure
22 Intake temperature sensor failure
23 Atmospheric pressure sensor failure
24 Oxygen sensor failure
30 Lean angle cut-off switch activated
31 Maximum allowable Oxygen sensor correction level exceeded
32 Oxygen sensor correction level too low
41 Lean angle cut-off switch disconnected or short-circuited
42 Vehicle speed sensor or neutral switch failure
43 Monitor voltage -- less than 3v
44 ECU failure

These scoots are turning into friggin' computers on wheels.

Where's the sensor for "too much weight on the seat"?
