tank removal.... again 2 Years, 11 Months ago
Guys I read the "No Pork tech article",,,,I have meter assembly resting comfy on a blanket...windshield cozied up to wifey's down jacket and the seat off......What bolt (s) is holdin' this bloomin' tank on. '06 Roadie...feelin silly, son's bought me some white LED's, thought we were ready to do the deed. Also would not hurt to ck the plugs while tank is off....assuming soomeone helps this non-wrench figure this out...Thanks in advance! Razorstar

Did you take the bolt out and unplug the green plug at the the seat end of the tank?

There's a bolt that holds that end of the tank to the frame. Just look underneath the end.

Across from one side to the other. It's the only bolt you'll see there. You have the seat off right?

Make sure you don't loose any of the rubber washers and get the bolt good and tight when you put it back together. Either of those will cause a rattle.
