The "T" mystery - California AIS 2 Years, 11 Months ago
Today I decided to put an end to decel pop. I installed the kit I got from EBAY, then I discovered California instructions on this site. I did a search of the site and found a question about a "T" that was never answered. On the 06 CA model the vacuum line that runs to the carb, "T"s above the carb and continues aft. I traced the vacuum line to a device covered by the right side cover (which parenthetically does not come off like the left).

After reading through the forum, no one ever identifies the device under the right side cover. I looked at my manual and it does not show the device. Anyone know what it is? There is a second vacuum line that appears to run from the device down just behind the fuse box. Does anyone know where it goes? And what it does?

dunno what it is But, if you remove the left side cover then there is a bolt in the middle of the two covers remove then the outside bolt on the right side to get at what it might be. take some pics.

It could be the crankcase breather

I figure out the how to get the right cover off yesterday. I'm not sure why Yami made them different. The camera went on vacation with my wife, so it will be a week or so before I can post pictures.
