I didn't figure they'd be tuned right for the low speeds these engines run at. I'm glad now I passed on them. If anyone's interested, I'm working on making my own slip-ons for under $100. But they discolored easily and need a ton of maintenance to keep them looking good. I did not want to pay a ton of money just to wrap the pipes. Yes they did not bolt right up but I got them to fit good with a little filing. As for the sound, they are loud and obnoxious. IMO if you want loud and don't care about looks get them. I've got my eyes on a set, yeah I know they're a bit on the less expensive side and I've enquired with Khromewerks (who are on summer break!). Now my R* is due a set of mufflers for sure-the constant weather riding is affecting the chrome badly so, a set of Long Rifles (and any advice there) or something else the Clinic can suggest?
