Yep, had mine snap at the weld (rust in the weld)when the bike had less than 1K on it, naturally broke on the highway so just dangled there until I got home. Dealer replaced for free but I still keep a close eye on it.

I put that on about a year ago and love it. No problems with welds or rust. My only problem now is I bought the MS lowers and hardware and they interfere with the turn signals I understand there is a turn signal relocation kit or something I can find to make them work.

i too had one break on me. I've heard it's a problem. break point? yeah, right at the weld. I've put a new one on now but if it goes I'll be looking for an alternative.

the weld under the driving lights. the right angle bracket on the ends. lot's of stress on them. a little rust and your a one eye jack.
