There is no trouble code with 3 flashes. 8 is for fuel sending unit. A 29 code is for Fuel injected bike, which is not your bike. FI came out in 2008 Roadies. Your bike is a carb. Why would a 29 (or 38)code be for only FI bikes???? I have a decompression solenoid on my bike. It's a 2003. I don't get the codes like the newer bikes, but i still have the parts.
