Platinum Boarder Posts: 1035 Memphis Shades Batwing Mounted & Ready to Ride 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago   Well, I finally got the fairing all mounted up. Here are a few shots when I took her out for a short shake down cruise. I'll get some better shots of the mounts tomorrow, when I take it off to wash everything up. BTW, it is supposed to be high 70s tomorrow, and this boy is going for a ride!!! (The fuel injector replacement in the jeep is just going to have to wait!!).   Logged     I like my women like I like my coffee... I was going to ask how it was compaired to the stock windshield but I see that is irrelevant. Quite a bit lower than the stock windshield. I only took it a couple of miles and never got a chance to go above about 45MPH, but it did keep the wind off my hands and chest. It took me most of a day to putt around and make the mounts. It might have gone faster if I had a bench grinder and weren't so picky about everything being perfectly symmetrical. It would have gone faster If I had someone to hold it in place while I fitted, ground, bent and fitted again. Believe me, If I can do it, most anyone can.
