No. I messed up when I said it was an 017 fairing. It actually is a 2330-0016 fairing, for a Softail HD. I hope I didn't mess anyone up.

So how does it work Paul? Does it keep the wind of of you? What about buffeting? Do you think it needs the lower deflectors? Looks like your windshield is 5"?
I've got a MS Fats, sounds like it will mount right up... Also thanks for the link, that's the first time I've seen a price or model number and now I see one in my future if you think it's all it's cracked up to be...

TIA Brother,
Tim

I like this fairing lots. It shields your hands great. I'm running HD chrome lowers, not sure how much they were neccessary, but I love the look. The 5" shield doesn't do much for shielding you above the chest. I'm running a 12" HD shield now. I drilled new holes in it and it works great (cheaper than MS shield too). The 5" shield left my full face helmet buffing really bad although my skid lid didn't buff as much. I still have my stock Silverado shield in the shop, but I doubt I will ever put it on again, that's how much I like this fairing. You'll have to paint it, black is the only color available.

Be safe Brother.

I have the MS 0017 Batwing from SS Customs with a 9" shield. It is too small for me. I like to get the HD 12" but what to I ask for? Is there a part no?

The one I have came off an Ultra Glide, but any HD that has a batwing will work. You're going to drill new holes in it anyway.
