#202608 Old Retired Cop (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 56 AIS removal on a 2008 / EFI 5 Months, 2 Weeks ago   Just got the AIS removal kit from Baron's and I think they sent me the wrong unit. It came with two round bullet shaped plugs and a drift-pin. Looking at the instructions, it appears these plugs will not work on my engine. Has anyone done the AIS removal on an '08 star? I sure would like some expert information before I tear into this thing. Should be two covers to fill the holes where the AIS tubing is removed from the sides of the motor. And, probably a little rubber intake plug that we don't need on FI models. I guess I'll never learn. Looks better with it removed, too...
