Re:Riding with passengers 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago
My wife has rode with me almost every mile i have put on my RS. Like i have said before she is like a backpack once she is on the bike i don't know she is back there unless she touches me or talks. She said she just loves being close to me and i love for her to be with me. My RS is stock seat and backrest and she says it feels great, we just got back from 265 mile loop today with no complaints, justed enjoyed the pretty farmland and hardley talked

Made a 120 mile loop through the beautiful Ozark hills today...weather in low 80's, a breeze, and another couple we enjoy the company of. Stopped for lunch about 10 miles down the road the other rider is pointing very aggressively at the highway and his helmet is going from side to side......when we stopped next I asked...WTF..... and he said she fell asleep (talk about trust) and almost fell off the side.....scared the hell out of him! Was comical to us watching him point and holler.....he was threatening to put her off the bike in the middle of the highway.....10 minutes later, kiss and make up. The way I look at it.....It takes a lot more trust to hang on the back of my bike than it does for me to put up with the occasional helmet bounce.. ..Seriously, I love havin Blondie on the back of my bike. I miss her when she is not able to ride along.

I do rode alone way more miles than two up....but
I must say while the bike does handle different/better while solo riding, I have had 4 different passengers so far this year all with different levels of riding skills, I really do like to take some one along for the ride. I have been on some great roads and seen some cool things so far this year. And its a great way for the passenger to have fun and relax too.

My latest passenger had never ridden at all until friday afternoon this week, then Saturday she wanted more....between the two rides she has logged almost 200 miles and is just about the best passenger yet already.

Overall it just takes some adjustment in style and speed for a great payback on the stops....

To each there own i guess..

My girlfriend wiggles a lot and trys to help me balance. Her daughter rides with me in parades and I hardly know she's there. My son came to visit Friday and has never been on a bike, not even a bicycle before, he's 15 and I gave him quick instrutions of what to do and not to do, he's a wiggler and he looks around a lot, even when I'm going through a round about
