Are you looking for ideas on WHAT to buy? Or are you looking for someone who is selling a bike, or both?

My vote, stay with the RS! Oh yeah, almost forgot, I'm glad to hear your mending! To bad about the RS.

Sorry to hear about your missfortune, as long as you are OK the rest is gravy. I think the Raider is a good looking bike with a kick ass motor. BUT its still the new kid on the block. My money would be on a Roadie. Tried tested and true. Not to mention all the available after market stuff.

Get well.

you are asking die hard R* fans if you should buy a raider?? I 've ridden tehe raider and I think the raider is cool, tons of power FI but, not a long haul tour bike. I also think the R* handles better shorter wheel base but, then I'm biased If I had the dough I would own both, if I had to choose....Roadstar!!

It's always a good thing if you live to speak of such a tragic event in your life. Hope you heal well and fast. As for the bike, looks like all the other guys already said what I was going to say. Keep the Roadie. Tons of after market add-ons. If you're "gun-shy" about getting back in the saddle again, get a learners bike...... Harley-Davidson Sporsters! C'mon moderators, that wasn't brand bashing........ Yami has entry level bikes too! Good luck on your recovery. Prayers are with you. Lone*Road* (LoneStar RoadStar)

Bowhunter!!! Paul!! Dude!!! It's good to see you again, man! So glad to hear that you're on the mend... Thank you for checking in. If you don't mind, could you tell us what happened and what the extent of your injuries was? (Or if you'd rather not talk about it, that's cool....)

It's just good to see you...

Glad to hear your healing I guess you should get what you feel comfortable with, But there's plenty of Road*'s out there looking for a good owner. Get healthy and back to riding.

Glad to hear you are doing OK and want to get back in the saddle.

Not sure if you're looking at new bikes.

I would try out a Raider, Liner and Road Star before you buy.
