The chrome was a piece of cake... sprayed the rag to get it saturated and wiped it down... the overspray came off just like regular dirt... The same went for the glass and leather...
The paint was another story though... I really had to do some serious rubbing, but after a few strokes, the paint started to feel a lot smoother... So, I decided to use a lot more WD-40 and a LOT more cleaning cloths... (just to cut the overspray and not "burn" the the paint...)
After a couple of hours I had done the whole bike and it looked great... and real shiney...
Unfortunately, it was a WD-40 shine... Oh, and BTW: I hadn't done the windshield yet...
OK, I take a big gulp and spray down the windshield with the WD-40 'till it was dripping... Wait a few minutes and start to wipe... What a greasy mess I made... I was panicing at this point...!
I kept wiping the stuff off and in a few minutes... it was clear... (except for the oily haze...) But everywhere I touched was as smooth as glass...
Well, I washed (more like flushed) the whole bike down with a concentrated mixture of Joy and water and the whole thing is clean... The only thing I have to deal with now is a dull haze that I hope is nothing more than the absence of wax and left over oil... But, at least all of the overspray is gone...
Tommorrow, I'll re-wax her and let y'all know how it shakes out...

Your next ride on the bike will be much more enjoyable. No matter what you work on, whether it's cosmetic or mechanical, after you finish, it drives so much better.
