I tried to love the ultimate but I ended up sending it back. The problem I had with it was that it was too wide where it meets the tank. It cause pressure on my inner thighs and cause me hip pain.

As for the passenger accommodation's... That got rave reviews.

I got my Ultimate a few weeks ago and compared to the stock (no support) and the Corbin (like sitting in a concrete bucket), the Ultimate rocks! I opted to order mine sans any logos or graphics and the gal I spoke when I ordered it, was very direct in saying, "no Ultimate logo, no return, period." Oh well, no need to return it, I love it!

Thanks for all the great feedback. Though Steven's experience is concerning as I plan the "no logos" option = no returns, I think I'm going to take the plunge.

Re:Ultimate Passenger seat feedback 3 Years, 8 Months ago
Lumberjack. i went from a Mustang to the Ultimate because the Mustang was to hard for me. I went to thier store here in Canada so that I could try it out and talk to them about concerns listed on this web site. They let me ride on one and I loved it.
I did not find it pushed me forward much at all,the Mustang I felt like I was riding on the tank.
It is a wide seat and is lower than the Mustang which is better for control.
I asked them about the complaint listed on the internet about being pushed forward and pressure point pain. They said if you are a large fellow you may experience these problems. They said I should be fine and I am. Love the seat and so does the wife. She does say though that the Mustang passenger was a bit better but both are way better than stock. By the way I am 6ft and 220lbs an the seat is fine for me. Don't bother checking my BMI either I already know.

Mike,
Just a word of caution to you. I'm a big guy 6' 280lbs 34" inseam and I sit on my R* just like you do in your sig pic way back on the seat. that was the trouble I had with the seat. No matter how I sat on/in the seat right where the logo was there was not enough cushion and it caused my rear end to fall asleep. Secondly it was difficult to to stop and put my feet down at stops cause the seat is so wide at the tank. I sincerely hope the Ultimate will work for you as it has for a lot of guys. I just wish someone would have spoke up on their unpleasent experience and saved me $50

Steven
