So I got the screws but I could not find stainless in that size. The ones I found are black and they say they are steel. Are these ok to use?

Yup, that's what I have in mine, no problem. I used little lock washers on them, too, just to be safe.

FYI, they sell them in stainless at Ace Hardware, of all places...

So I got the tank lined(pain in the a$$) and everything buttoned up. She's running better but still a little slugish! Almost sounds like it is missing or something?? I have the idol screwed out almost wide open just to get it to idol right. I don't know what to do but I will keep tinkering with it I guess.

So I gave in and took the bike to the local dealer out here. After a quick $100 she is running great!! Thanks for all the info and help out there!!
