You nailed it. Once applying firm downward pressure to the front main light, it went away.

Reach out and touch the headlight ... does it go away?

You nailed it. Once applying firm downward pressure to the front main light, it went away.
The high pitch squeak will be your 2 headlight adjuster screws and springs, (the 2 holes in the lower front of your headlight bezel). Spray a shot of W-D on the screws and springs. Ask me how I know! While your at it, grab me a cold one as well!

Might be worth a look-see, but try taking the two (nylon?) roller guides out next to the front pulley and try her out. I went with a larger pulley and had to take them out because the belt was spinning them more, so they were squealing and chirping and whirring. As long as the belt's properly aligned, there should be no trouble with the belt spinning off the pulley. Also, If you have a jack, you can jack up the rear and take the bike through the gears to see if that takes care of it.I will be checking that out that to me is the area the noise is coming from Thanks, and it is a chriping whirring squealing noise , let you know love this Clinic alway giving me something to do sodaCracker will pm you to let you know

After applying some silicone spray to the height adjustment springs and the bezel clamp and after tightening down the two bezel screws, I am glad to say that I have no more squeek. Virtual Bourbon to Doc and Boat.
