I heard the "bag" systems can't get as low as the "shock" type systems. But, thats just what I heard.

Re:Air Ride Questions 2 Years, 10 Months ago
I figured I better update after yesterday and this morning...

So I thought after discussing the Tricky system and "bounciness" I would play with it, and ironically, after dumping half the air out, it rode nice...still a little pogo over big bumps, but not much. I sent an email to Tricky to ask about the "customization" of the ride and they have a breather valve that does allow for smoothing out the shock. Mine was all the way in, which makes it very pogo-ish, and stiff. So half air, half valve, and it rides low and nice!

So, change my initial thoughts, now I am even more happy with it!! Now, as far as ooooohs, and aaahhhhs, you can't beat it!

Thanks for taking the time to play with it and reporting back.

What are you guys using for a kickstand ?? Baron's shorty ... or you letting it lean like Tampa.

I just have the stock one for now. As long as you lock left it stays pretty stable. I will probably eventually get a shorty to

Hey, that wasn't on purpose...

Baron's shorty here, also. Stock kickstand made it sit straight up...

I modified a shorty from the R* to fit on my Warrior. Mine sat straight up and down with the stock stand. With the wheel turned right it would tip over! But my front end is lower than stock with my rake. With the shorty it has a nice lean, I don't have to drive around parking lots looking for the perfect slanted parking spot anymore.LOL
