Raider wheel 2 Years, 10 Months ago
I am striking out trying to find what the model number is of the Yamaha Raider. I'm trying to find a front wheel & fender from salvage to put on my R*.

Thanks,
Paul

Choose 2008 or 2009 and the model numbers are in the drop down list. Star motorcycles

Thanks Java.
I'm just thinking of what I might want to do when riding season is over.

I had that idea last year that's why I had the P/N. but decided to keep the fat front wheel, possibly, try a royal star front wheel!

Did you do much research on this mod? The Raider forks are narrower, did you look into what would be needed to get the rotors lined up to match our calipers? How about the OD of the 21" tire vs our 16"?

I know they share the same bearing p/n as well as the seals and collar. the axles were the same too if I remember right. That's about as far as I went with it.

Sounds like it might be a fairly simple mod. Maybe I can stop by the dealer today and take some notes..

Thanks

You can space out the rotor is it's not too much.

How about the OD of the 21" tire vs our 16"?l

If you get the Raider tire size then you can calculate the total size differences between the two.
