And, how about a rebate for the guy that got Jason hooked on riding low?

Welcome, again.

Welcome to the clinic Tricky! I currently have one of your competitors air ride system and I am not that happy about it, but after spending more than what you offer yours for, I am kinda stuck with it. I wish that I would have know how nice yours was before I bought mine! You guys dont run a exchange program do ya?LOL!!! I think it is great customer service that you would come over here and deal with us and all our questions. Thank you!

$875 retail, what price do we as Roadstar Clinic members get??

I don't want to upset any sponsors by doing business on here, so just call me at 731-934-9472, and I'll treat you good for being a member here!

Now, Stonecoldstar - why don't you just put it on e-bay or something? There are always a bunch of air ride systems on e-bay so you know it will move.

We don't maintain any type of sponsor exclusivity as it could end up being in conflict with our mission statement. You are welcome to interact with the members of the clinic here. The only rules we have about that are that we ask sponsors not to solicit our members outside of the vendors folder.

Responding to member questions is ok everywhere

Thanks for getting in the mix Tricky Air.

Looks like Doc is still promising FREE BEER...

Hey, Tricky. I've got a question for you.
The remote control that Tricky uses. Are you able to lift the bike with it, without issue?
Reason I ask is... I've had a few 4-CH remotes and there's just not enough voltage to power the compressor.

I thought about running the air pressure sensor use the other channel, in lieu of kicking on the compressor manually with the remote.

Thanks, man.

Yeah, we haven't had a problem. The cool thing with our remote is we can program a time limit. That way instead of having your remote send your bike all the way to the up position, it will be in a more ridable middle position. So just hit a button as you're walking up to it and get on and go!

I don't know about your remotes, but we worked with the company who makes ours to be specifically designed around our product.

We have an up button, a down button, and two auxillaries that can be programmed.

Sounds like a good deal to me, plus what great customer service. This is going to be my next mod. I was going back and forth on the company, but now I know where I'm shopping. Give me a few months to save up.

does anyone have a pic of the tricky setup. Is it a air rod or bag. Does it have a air tank or compressor right into the air rod or bag.

I use to have air ride on my car and it wasn't a good ride had air rods even halfway felt like a caddy with blown shocks not good for turns.

It actually is a stainless steel shock, no bag or bladder. Air pressure moves a piston in the shock. Now, you can run it with a resevoir tank, but the standard kit comes tankless. It's a compressor that runs directly to the shock.

As for the ride, it's great. Just don't take my word for it, read the testimonials from people on this site. Air ride for cars are so far removed from air ride for bikes , it's like comparing apples to... dog turds (what?... did you think I was going to say oranges! ). The quality is just not there in the car world yet.
