Not a Road* owner.....yet 2 Years, 10 Months ago

I feel like a bit of a fool joining a Road* forum and not owning one but here goes.........
I've been a long time fan of Yamaha's, I just sold my 86 Fj1200 which was excellent but got cramped on long rides with the wife and myself and I'm kicking myself in the a$$ for not getting a Road* earlier (they've been the most expensive metric cruisers for the longest time now but the prices are coming down to my budget range) I've found one on the internet with all the parts that I prefer and I'm in "negotiations" as I'm typing this.
I remember first seeing "spy" shots of a Roadie before Yamaha launched the bike, I saw the pics back in 97 I think it was and I couldnt help think YES!!!, finally a heavyweight cruiser from the crossed tuning fork company (the Virago's were nice but looked lightweight IMHO)
So here I am, trying to absorb (read that educate) myself in everything Road* before I take possession.
