Speedo/Odometer fix for front-pulley switch? 2 Years, 10 Months ago
Hey Guys,

Today I swapped out my 33 tooth front pulley for a Barons 31 tooth in my '01 1600. The transformation is simply incredible... along with the intake and exhaust flow improvement, and the addition of a Dyna 3000 set at 5,000 RPM... Of course, my speedomter and odometer are not reading right.

I got exactly what I was looking for... low-speed flexibility. I typically ride between 35 and 45,and now I can get up to fourth and just stay in that one gear, instead of switching up and down between 3rd and 4th constantly while cruisin' at those speeds.

What's the fix? Can I get my speedo/odo to read right again???

Thanks Flash,

Blackrobotics didn't seem to have anything to do with speedo fix, as I looked over their site, but speedohealer showed real promise, and I'll contact them tomorrow.

Any other contacts that anyone knows of?

I have the Speedohealer. It works nice. I used a GPS to calibrate. Good luck.

Gee, thanks, fellas... this really helps. I'll definitely give them a call. I don't have a GPS, but I think I know someone who does, and would be willing to help.

How's this thing work? Just a plug in, in between the current plug and the gauges???

Just got off the phone with the national distributor of Speedohealer out in Idaho. It starts heading my way beginning this afternoon!

I thought the write up on at the manufacturer and distributors site was just great! Can fine tune that sucker to the exact mph! Gonna need that GPS!!!

Looking at the Clymer (pg. 314), it looks like it sits behind the left side cover. Three wires are blue/yellow, white, black/blue.
