I was there for 2 days a week ago and it was just miserable. Your best bet is to pay 6 or 7 dollars for the 24 hr bus pass and ride it to where you want to go. The cab service will break you! We left there Tuesday morining at 7:30 and it was already 103 degrees. We also stayed at Circus Circus for like $49 on the 32nd floor. I didnt think it was too bad of a deal. Hope this helps ya out

i will post pics soon...will make you want to ride even more. We rode pretty much all day. Get out as early as possible though. By 2pm it was pretty tough, but we stayed hydrated, and made frequent stops. I was determined to see the sights!!!

agreed...cab fares were tough. Also I didn't ride the strip but once. It was way too hot for that. I could only ride if I was moving (air moving past you...granted it was hot air...)

BB...funny you should say that. I had always heard that saying, but had no frame of reference. I think you might have wanted to shove your boot up my @$$, b/c being from texas we get the 100 degree days but with ridiculous humidity. Don't get me wrong, it was hot as hades, but I do think it was a sifferent kind of hot.

All cool Bro' , Ga. gets those 100 degree days with 85% humidity , it's miserable here sometimes. But EVERYONE kept telling us , it's not the same kind of heat , there's no humidity. Well , in a nutshell , my best way to explain it was like sticking my head in an oven. It was Hot. I peeled my complete top layer of lips off in the hotel room when we got there , that's how burned I was. BB
