I have a HJC modular, and a Shoei RF1000 the Shoei is quieter and more comfortable, but I like the ability to raise the front. I think my next helmet I will be getting a Shoei Multitec and have the best of both worlds. I should mention that you really need to try them on. I have a Shoei type head and some other helmets like Arai don't fit very good. Moondog
