Tampa,
A bracket does come with the kit... you didn't get one? Where did you buy your kit from?
BTW, the compressor typically mounts under the seat...
Madjacker,
About the "pogo issue", read a little earlier in this thread. We were talking about our underutilized rebound control valve. Now about a bag outlasting a shock - it'll never happen. Rubber has a shelf life, eventually a boot or bag will crack. Our shock is stainless steel, may go dull after 10 years, but it will out live you or I! Plus we have a lifetime rebuildable warranty if the seals ever give out...
another huge difference between bag and shock styles is actuation time. A bag has to expand to capacity before it overcomes bike weight. Because the walls of the shock retain their shape actuation is immediate...
I'm not harping on you dude, just a comparison. When was a machinist in the Navy, we changed out and threw away all our rubber components that hit the five year mark, there were steel components on that ship older than me and all we did was polish or paint them!

Its all good the more info the better. In refference to the shock, I meant a shock blowing a seal,..or a leak,..I think I get metal outlasting rubber. Air tribe offers a 100% lifetime warranty as well, and i dont think I will be racing someone in a bike raising or lowering contest, so actuation time is not an issue for me. Like I say it comes down to personal prefference in the end. Hell, I wish I had the money to have two bikes, one with each kind of air ride, I like them both, but could only have one. Tampa, like the bars, hadnt had a chance to give u props on the new look....I like.

I didn't get a bracket either, for the pump I am assuming. I bought mine from Phat.
I just took some foam tape and put it on that, in the tool tray. Its not secure, but it fits tight in the spot so that it can't go anywhere...but yeah, no bracket per se

Hmmmm.... I'll check with tech, I was under the assumption that all our kits went out with a universal bracket at the very least

No, I was wrong...
... the RS kit doesn't come with a bracket because it snugs up under the seat so well...
...does any one need a universal bracket for a different mounting option?

I will be 100% honest, it fits great under there without a bracket, so I wouldn't want to put one on...but one thing that may be nice for your future customers is some of that 1/8" rubber pad with tape backing, it will quiet the system quite a bit from vibrating on the plastic tray. I added a piece under the pump, and one on the side where it butts up to the metal mount, and now its nice and smooth sounding, not like it is bouncing around under there.

I have a question for ya Tricky... how does your air compressor compare to the Viair compressors?
