Anyone been to this? Planning another Road* and the Harley road trip and decided to head south from Rochester MN in about 3 weeks to Mountain View Arkansas for the Mountain, Music & Motorcycles event.

I haven't been to that particular event ,but I went to Mtn View last yr, Its beautiful country with a lot of well maintained roads to ride thru the mtns on. Mtn View is a neat little town with nice people and some decent places to eat & sleep .There was also some really good music at the town square every day. So Go !
Regards

Hey Midnite, I've been to Mt. View several times, but just not to this event. I'm a native Arkansan and Mt. view is a really beautiful place. While your there you need to go to Blanchard Springs Caverns. The caverns are 18 miles from Mt. View. As long as your here in God's country you might want to check out Mt. Home/ Bull Shoals lake and Eureka Springs. North Arkansas is covered with good twisty two lane roads and some really beautiful country! I live in Fort Smith so if you get near here let me know and we'll try to get together.

Maybe we'll see a few of you there then. Look for two bikes with Minnesota plates, a 2007 Midnight (obvious?) Road Star hopefully with Lindby Lindbar engine guards and black tooled saddle bags if I can get it all together in the coming weeks and a maroon Heritage Softail Classic.

I have been to this event several times. I even went last year and enjoyed it. Its a beautiful ride and lots of things to see and do. I belong to CMA and we will have a hospitality wagon up there giving away coffee in the morning and ice cold water all day, so top by and see us. Our chapter name is White River Faith Riders out of Batesville AR. Hope to see you there. Keep safe and God Bless!

Back again. We are heading out on Thursday morning taking a leisurely ride down on Hwy 63 through Iowa and Missouri. I think when we hit Rolla we will veer off on Hwy 72 to Hwy 19 into Arkansas, then Hwy 9, Hwy 56 and finally Hwy 5 into Mountain View on Friday. I got a correction on my friend's bike reminding me that it she rides a softail Custom Delux in Lava Red Sunglow Those Harleys, they all look alike

With a little luck we'll catch up with a few of you. If I see your bike - Bigdaddy63 - I'll give a shout.Probably won't be too many bikes with Minnesota plates around so we may be easier to spot. We will look for the Miki at the hospitality wagon. Not sure that we'll make it to Ft Smith area but who knows. The way back has yet to be decided.
