This may sound like a dumb question...but I'm known for asking these questions. Is there any way to lower the stock seat on my Roadie?

you can loose approx. an inch out of the seat by removing the vynil an cutting back some foam or removing it all and replace thinner memmory foam.you will probably have to get your seat rerapped at an uphostry shop
cost about a 100 bucks

The easiest way is to just remove the staples, carve out the difference you need with either an electric carving knife or a hot knife, You can add memory foam or something stiffer at that time (I use yoga mats from WalMart)if you want. You then stretch out the old cover and restaple. The problem is that the seams will not line up like they used to due to the change in shape so that can be a real pain in the *****. I would recommend using a crown stapler to reattach (got mine at harbor freight for $38) and works fine. I did mine from scratch.

That is a work of art. What does something like that cost, if you don't mind me asking.
