L*R*, wow, that is some riding.

I picked my midnight in October'07, so far I'm at 18K km (11.25K miles), mind you, I'm going to Canadas east cost on Saturady, that will be another 6K by the time I am done. So far so good, other then I keep loosing the small bolts on the windshield, lost one last year on a way back from Vancouver, and I just lost another one last night , I think I will add some blue locktide before I go, Yami wants $10 for one bolt and nut, they are insane.

Anyways congrats on your 50k in 2 years.

I will see if I can find my receipt where I purchased some bolts for my windshield and post the name of the company. I had the same thing happen to me. I bought a dozen stainless 6 mm Truss Head bolts and stainless nylock nuts for less that $10.00. I took my windshield apart and replaced them all at one time. Blue 242 locktite with nylocks, haven't lost another one.

the ACE hardware where i live actually have chrome bolts and chrome lock washers. LOWES has Stainless steel which fit. I use those billet cones that you usually get for the license plate and they look great

Reading the reply's on how much mileage other roadies are piling up, seems to me that I'm just now breaking-in my motor @ 50,000 miles! Nice to read. Enjoy the riding and be safe out there. Lone*Road*

When I bought mine last year it had a little over 8k on it. I've got over 18k now. I guess I've got a long way to go yet, huh. My longest ride has been about 200 miles to date.
