Aftermarket Road King /Touring fairing on Roadstar 2 Years, 9 Months ago
I bought this Aftermarket fairing from ebay advertised for a Harley Road King. I took the brackets that came with it and cut them up and added some more flat metal, welded them up, painted them black and mounted this fairing on my roadstar..of course I had to prep and paint the fairing, and add the radio system, antenna, etc. But it came with quick connect power cord and cigarette lighter. I thought is was ok for 405.00 and shipping of about 60.00 bucks. The windshield they sent looked like they had trouble making it and it was kinda hacked up so I bought a dark tinted one from ebay for the FLH that is extended 3" on each side to help cut down on wind to the rider. It was another 65.00 shipped. Overall, I love it. Very nice set up..and if you look real close..under the throttle control you can see my sony RM-x4s wired remote for the radio. I made a custom angle bracket and got help from 3m double sided tape, and it looks great and works great. Thought I would show it, hope ya like it! J

I have more pics..just don't know how to add them..only let me add one here.

That looks like a Hoppe Fairing! If it is you got a great deal on it. New is around $1,400-1,500

It is very similar to a hoppe fairing..it was brand new..just an aftermarket out of california for road kings. I had to make brackets but other than that, it was all there..put together well too. I am satisfied with it. I have a few scratches and blemishes on the tank, rear fender, so when winter comes, all the tins and fairing is coming off and going to a professional to have them refinished and maybe a little custom work. Nothing crazy though. I have a trunk coming and the MU hard bags you see from mutazu. I would like to have had the yamaha bags but no way was I gonna fork out that kinda dough for those bags when I can be satisfied with the MU bags. The fairing and radio, speakers, cost a lot but I believe I still saved a lot doing it the way I did. By next spring I hope to have a lot more done to it. Thanks for the compliments.
