Its not the most accurate drawing because I did it in paint (AutoCAD is down right now ) but the dimensions are what I used.
The filter is from Green Filters. I will have to check the part number out tomorrow, but it is one of the ones with a mounting I.D. of 2.44".
The elbow is a SHORT aluminum pipe elbow. Its way overkill and super heavy, but it had the right O.D. There is a flange on the back side of the back plate with the same O.D. as the mouth of the carb. Can't remember what size it is off hand either. I'll have to check that out as well tomorrow. The small filter hanging off the bottom is for the crankcase breather.
Oh, and I don't think there is a way to do it without welding unless you can rub the parts together really, REALLY fast to fuse them together.
Do you happen to have the measurements in inches??????

I believe they are in inches Chico..I think he's just taking it to the thousanth of an inch..

Yeah, all the dimensions are in inches. The decimals all convert over to nice fractions too.
