PMS cap, how thick is this thing?!?! 2 Years, 9 Months ago
I am drilling out the cap and am about an 1/8" down it seems. My experience with carbs is that these caps are like pressed brass sheet metal, am I in the right place? do all stock carbs have an adjustment here?

Its just a little brass plug, probably just pressed in. I just drilled in the middle, then pried it out with the drill bit. Its pretty easy..Good Luck

Its a little round brass plug, once removed the adjustment is down in the hole a little ways. So if you wind up drilling all the way thru I think it will be ok. You might try to use a small punch, or maybe little pick or awl. Let me know if you get it..

thanks for the motivation. The thing is a lot thicker than I thought it would be (about 5/32) so i was getting nervous, but i got it, and the punch tip helped out.

Always helpful guys...THANKS
